“Go with me for a moment to witness what was perhaps the foggiest night in history. The scene is very simple; you’ll recognize it quickly. A grove of twisted olive trees. Ground cluttered with large rocks. A low stone fence. A dark, dark night. Now, look into the picture. Look closely through the shadowy foliage. […]
She is not you! and You are not her! So sis, stop comparing yourself to her!
Dear Woman of God, “Embrace the season that you are in, embrace the place, the status, the moment that God has placed you in right now. Embrace it.” ‘Waiting. It is one of the most frustrating things you can do. Waiting for a new job, waiting for the man that God has for you, waiting […]
Dear Woman of God, Don’t get distracted. ‘Don’t get distracted’ you tell yourself as you plan to start your day in prayer and the word, but you pull your phone from underneath your pillow and start to scroll. ‘Don’t get distracted’ you tell yourself as you try to move on from that unhealthy relationship, yet […]
Never had Proverbs 16:9 become so evident in my life like it did in 2020. At the beginning of the year, I had made lists, goals, agendas and appropriated a specific timeline to accomplish my vast list of future accomplishments. How God must have chuckled as I vigorously wrote MY PLANS/GOALS and probably more tickled […]

Through my years her words and her example have stayed with me, and have built the foundation of what I feel every Christian woman needs. If you would allow me, I would love to share with you some of the pearls of wisdom she has shared with me over the years.
To sustain our spiritual appetite, we must cultivate a heart that seeks God. For it is the sincere, heart seeking of God that will keep our feet from going astray (v.10, Prov. 4:23). The heart that seeks God will be directed by the Holy Spirit to see God in every aspects of life; desires to learn more and about God; and develop an honest and intimate fellowship with God. But how can we cultivate a heart that seeks God? By spending time in God’s Word, doing what God’s Word instructs, and delighting in God’s Word.
